Launch: See It? Skip It?
I’ve owned the domain SeeItSkipIt.com for a number of years, and had planned on building a movie review aggregating site, but somehow never got around to it.
After my recent foray with Social voting sites (ShouldRedesign, and Cymbolism) I decided to try a similar approach with SeeItSkipIt.
There are many movie review, and rating sites however and so I wanted to approach the site from a slightly different angle.
Rather than waiting for the movies to be released and people rating the movies after they had seen them, why not get ahead of the curve. Most people will decide whether they will watch a movie based on the trailer, either seeing it in theaters before another feature, or on the television, and increasingly online.
SeeItSkipIt allows users to view trailers for upcoming movies and cast their vote as to whether they will See It or Skip It.
Collecting this rating for the movies and by association the trailers for them, should help you decide if a movie is worth going to see.
Come on over and view the latest trailers and cast your vote!
